Hello Everyone,
Due to the developing COVID-19 situation, we have postponed the upcoming unveiling of "We Still Have Hope" planned for this coming Friday March 20 in partnership with Pillar Nonprofit Network-Innovation Works London. Innovation Works London remains closed until April 6th.
The team of youth behind "We Still Have Hope" look forward to storying the mural and performing their collective poem once the current situation has settled and it is safe to do so. In the meantime, they ask that as we take extra care of one another, show kindness and do what we can to support those most vulnerable.
Be well and be safe & we hope to see you soon :)

On Friday March 20th from 12 to 1 pm, MRCSSI is hosting a public unveiling & storytelling for the "We Still Have Hope" mural in partnership with Pillar Nonprofit Network - Innovation Works London.
Together 28 newcomer youth & social artist Melanie Schambach created the mural "We Still Have Hope", which tells the story of home, displacement, migration, of re-building home and land.
On March 20th, youth will tell the story of how they collaborated to create the mural, share the meaning of the title and perform a collective spoken word poem.
We look forward forward to seeing you on Friday March 20th @ 12 pm!
We thank Innovation Works London for partnering on this event. MRCSSI gratefully acknowledges funding and support from the Laidlaw Foundation and City of London. Melanie Schambach gratefully acknowledges funding from the London Arts Council.
